International Market Place opened August 25, 2016 featuring approx. 75 retailers and Hawaii’s first Saks Fifth Avenue. The Grand Lāna‘i at International Market Place offers outdoor seating at seven signature restaurants, the largest concentration of dining options in Waikiki. The history and culture of Waikīkī are woven throughout the architecture of International Market Place with its flowing water features, lush landscaping and iconic banyan tree that is more than a century old.

The reimagined International Market Place, opening in Waikīkī on August 25, is adding two unique-to-market restaurants to its lineup for the open-air, third-level Grand Lanai.  Hakkasan Group’s social dining concept Herringbone, and Japanese-inspired Baku will open their first Hawaii locations at the center.

“Both of these brands are perfect complements to the already robust restaurant offerings that we have announced to-date,” said William S. Iconic fire tower, representing the last of the construction steel, was erected today during a special topping off ceremony HONOLULU, Hawai’i, October 26, 2015 – The International Market Place management team was joined today by representatives from Queen Emma Land Company and several Hawaiian dignitaries for a “topping off” ceremony at International Market Place. How do I get to International Market Place?

By car from Kalakaua Ave: Keep left at the fork of Kuhio and Kalakaua, taking Kuhio Ave to the Walina Street intersection. The entrance to the parking garage can be found on the right hand side, adjacent to Saks Fifth Avenue.

By car from Kapahulu Ave: Proceed to Ala Wai Blvd and continue to Walina Street. Turn left and continue through the intersection at Kuhio Avenue directly into the parking garage.

Walking: International Market Place is centrally located in Waikiki between Seaside and Kaiulani avenues.

Where are the ATM machines located?

ATMs are located on all three levels of the center. On levels one and two, machines are located to the right of the Saks Fifth Avenue entrance. On level three, the ATM is located in the restroom corridor at the Grand Lanai entrance from the parking garage.

What are the restaurants? Do they take reservations?

Restaurants are on the Grand Lanai, located third floor with direct access from valet. In addition, fast-casual options can be found in the first floor Mauka Court. All Grand Lanai restaurants (except Goma Tei) accept reservations. Please contact the restaurants directly, their contact information can be found here .

The Grand Lanai on the top level of International Market Place will feature a carefully curated collection of unique-to-market restaurants featuring a wide variety of tastes to suit any palate.  Many of the offerings are chef-driven concepts and all provide both indoor and outdoor seating.

Where can I get a wheelchair? Is there a cost to rent your wheelchairs?

Complimentary wheelchairs are available at Customer Service in the Mauka Court on the first floor. A deposit is required, but will be returned when you are finished.

Kama‘āina and visitors alike will gather nightly on Kalākaua just after sundown for the ceremonial lighting of the Lamakū Torch Tower. Guests are then lead through International Market Place to the torch-lit stage in Queens Court where they will be immersed in an unforgettable storytelling performance told through Hawaiian and Polynesian song and dance. Honoring the beloved Queen Emma, the nightly show highlights the stories, traditions and culture of International Market Place.

How do I contact mall security?

International Market Place security officers patrol the shopping center ensuring customer safety.  If you need to contact the security department, please visit Customer Service where a Customer Service Representative will be happy to call a security officer.  The security department can also be reached by calling (808) 921 0548 .  Access the security office via the Grand Lanai elevators.

Parking


Parking entrance located at the intersection of Kuhio Avenue and Walina Street. A minimum purchase of $10.00 at any merchant is required for validation. Validation is offered by all stores and restaurants.

 

Standard parking rate - $2.00 per 20 minutes

 

Rates with validation:

First Hour - Free

Second Hour - $2.00

Third Hour - $2.00

After the third hour, standard rates apply.

 

Valet is offered at a flat fee of $5.00 in addition to applicable parking rates.
